Square at Harras in Munich
For the beautiful redesign of the square at Harras in Munich by the company BBZ Architekten, we were allowed to produce the bent battens from oak.
The assembly was done by the local joinery Grazl.
Custom made 60 linear meters of arched bench
Zurich
After about fifteen years of planning and construction, the National Museum finally received a makeover.
Thanks to the steam-bending process, the steam-bent larch slats remain dimensionally stable with a full wood cross-section, without gluing.

Arched benches
Rotkreuz
For the area Suurstoffi in Rotkreuz BURRI has realized several arched benches for the project “rotating tree” by Vogt landscape architects.
Due to the rotation, the arched benches are always in a different constellation around the groups of trees.

Elfenau Bern
Stadt Bern, BE
For the park of the historic Elfenau country estate in Bern, we were commissioned to produce two unusual curved benches made of oak. The excellently preserved, imposing benches from the historic estate served as the starting point. One of them can be seen in the picture gallery in the background.
Solid Swiss oak, traditional wood joints, steam bending and complete surface treatment with weatherproof structure. From the first sketch to the delivery, we were allowed to play the whole repertoire, so to speak.
Napoleon Museum Arenenberg
Arenenberg, TG
Where it all began…. these were the first steam-bent benches Cooperation with a metalworker was allowed to carry out.
At Arenenberg Castle, the castle park was uncovered and redesigned according to historical plans. Fortunately, an artist 200 years ago drew these beautiful benches around the trees. many thanks to the unknown painter.

So close to heaven
Rotkreuz, ZG
For the roof garden of a corporate headquarters in Rotkreuz (ZG) we were allowed to install these curved edges made of Swiss larch. A successful example of how curved wood can make the transition from the organic forms of the surroundings to the clean lines of a modern building.

Le charme tessinois dans la grande ville

The formerly dreary courtyard with parking lot invites today to linger
For the natural design of this shady courtyard with “learning workshop” on the first floor, we were allowed to produce seating elements made of oak with Inox connectors. We took the organic, free forms of the natural stone walls on site with simple templates and a few weeks later delivered and installed the seating surfaces.
From everyday object to design legend
